TURBOCAST
Low-Temperature Thermoplastics (LTTPs) are the materials that are widely used to fabricate patient-customizable splints, braces and/or supports. LTTP material activates in relatively low heat conditions (e.g., water between 60-75 oC). Unlike the high-temperature thermoplastics, after warming up, LTTP materials can be placed directly on the patient while molding the splint.
